Pet Diagnostics

With our comprehensive diagnostic services in Houston — including bloodwork, imaging, and lab testing — our expert team at The Corner Vet – Bellaire is well-equipped to identify and treat your pet’s health concerns.

Could an Undetected Illness or Injury Be Plaguing Your Pet?

When people get sick or hurt, they call the doctor, explain their symptoms, and receive the appropriate care. With dogs and cats, it’s not always this straightforward. Because they can’t speak, our pets are unable to tell us when something is bothering them.

What’s more, many animals are able to mask the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen undetected.

Veterinary diagnostics allow us to identify and treat health problems in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of illness and injury can dramatically improve the likelihood of a positive outcome.

Laboratory

Our on-site laboratory makes it quick and easy to run a wide variety of diagnostic tests. In many cases, we can have the answers we need in just minutes. This means we can establish a treatment strategy before you and your pet even leave the exam room.

Imaging

When a physical exam and lab work aren’t sufficient for reaching a definitive diagnosis, we turn to advanced imaging technology, such as X-rays and ultrasound. These tools allow us to examine the bones and internal organs, identifying injuries, diagnosing illness and determining its severity.

Images can be evaluated by our doctors in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.

If your pet has seemed a bit under the weather lately, don’t take chances. Give us a call right away. We’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your four-legged friend back on the path to good health again.
